4 Best and easy cookies recipes for christmas
We are 4 days away from christmas, and i feel so excited to celebrate it with my lovely family. My kids started to help me making different types of cookies and they loved it, so if you don’t have much time i just added in this list the best and easiest last minutes christmas cookies. Asimple 4 ingredients to enjoy with your family, some of these recipes don’t need to chill and reset dough just make it and start shaping, and enjoy it in your christmas.
I am as the most of you, a busy mother so i tried to find an easy recipes for my family also with a loveley taste and shape, and these are the very easy recipes i ever tried.
Best 4 Ingredients Christmas cookie recipe
Best and easy to make 4 ingredients cookies for everyday and for christmas
Ingredients
- 2 cups all puspose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 250 grams / 1 cup cold Butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl mix sugar and flour together, add egg with vanilla extract give all a quick mix.
- Add butter and toss with hands until well combined and have a cookie crumble dough,knead in a clean surface just to shape as a ball.
- Shape as a ball.
cover with plastic wrap and chill at least for 2 hours. - Take half of the dough and Flatten half of the ball with a roller.
With a cookies cutters, cut the cookies and place in an oven tray. - To the other half colour it with food colouring or add 1 tablespoon of cacao powder for chocolate cookies.
- Bake at 170°C/360F for 10 minutes.
- Cool before fill or transfer your cookies

Notes
- The dough must rest at least 2 hours and the more it chill the more it will be tasty and full of flavour.
- The butter should be cold so the dough won't be sticky and too much mushy, so it wont crack when transfer it.
- The egg should be at room tempereture.
- Use all purpose flour in this recipe, no need for self raising flour and adding baking powder to this dough.
- Fill cookies after completely cool, with your favourite jam flavour or with chocolate.
- You can reserve the dough for 72 hours in refrigerator.
After baking cookies, consume before 14 days, because after that the cookies will start to be mushy and lost their flavour. - Don't reserve cookies in refrigerator it will turned mushy and lost it crunchies, reserve in a cookies box at room temperature
