Best Orange Cake – Christmas Orange cake

This lovely orange cake is what you’re looking for for your holidays; it is not just my best orange cake I’ve ever made, but also my fans’ best orange cake, and it’ll be the best orange cake you’ve ever made yourself. It is so easy to make, and you’ll have no difficulty making it; just mix sugar with eggs and add other ingredients, and you’ll have the best orange cake.

Can i add dry fruit to this cake?

Sorry, but this cake is fluffy and made with oil, and any cake made with vegetable oil will not hold the dry fruits and will all fill the bottom of the cake.

Should i whisk eggs with sugar until light yellow mixture?

Yes, it would be better to reach the light yellow; the more you whisk, the more the cake will stand.

What ingredients you’ll need to make this cake?

  • Eggs
  • Sugar
  • Flour
  • Vegetable oil
  • Fresh orange fruit
  • baking powder
  • pinch of salt.

How to make Best orange cake?

  • Grease your mold with butter and then dust with flour.
  • Whisk the eggs, sugar and vanilla until light yellow color.
  • To the eggs mixture add the orange zest, orange juice and vegetable oil give the mixture a quick mix.
  • Add the siften flour into two phases, mix until the flour disappears and you have a smooth cake batter.
  • Pour the cake batter into prepared cake mold.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°c/365F for 50 to 55 minutes.
  • Cool cake down on a wire rack.

Can i make this cake as a cup cakes?

  • All the cake ingredients must be at room temperature.

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 2 ½ cups all purpos flour
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup vegetable oil

Instructions

    1. Prepare a 20-cm cake mold by buttering it and then dusting it with flour.
    2. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (365 °F).
    3. In a large bowl, place the eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Whisk the eggs and sugar together until they are a light yellow color.
    4. Meanwhile, sift the flour and baking powder in a separate medium bowl.
    5. Peel the orange zest and take just the orange-colored zest. Squeeze 2 or 3 orange fruits to get 1 cup of fresh orange juice.
    6. To the egg mixture, add the orange zest, orange juice, and vegetable oil. Give the mixture a quick mix.
    7. Add the sifted flour in two phases, mix until the flour disappears, and you have a smooth cake batter.
    8. Pour the batter into the prepared cake mold.
    9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (365°F) for 50 to 55 minutes.
    10. On a wire rack, cool the cake.
