Apple caramel cake is what you need through these autumn days as a dessert, since we all have apples and all the simple cake ingredients we should try this yummy cake

Ingredients
For caramel:
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp water
For cake batter:
- ¾ cup granlated sugar
- 3 large eggs (room temperature)
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- Pinch of Salt
- 2 Tsp ground cinnamon
- 200 grams Butter (room temperature)
- ½ cup milk (room temperature)
- 1 Tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Grease a 23cm diameter round cake mold with butter.
- Preheat oven at 180°C/365F.
- In a saucepan on medium heat, caramelize 3/4 cup sugar, add 2 tablespoons of butter stir consistently until the butter melt, add 1 tablespoon of water and remove from heat.
- Peel 2 apples and core the seeds, cut the apples into slices each with 1/2 inch thick.
- Row apples slices over the caramel, set aside while preparing the cake batter.
- In a large bowl, cream butter with the sugar until it becomes a creamy mixture.
- Add the eggs one at a time with vanilla extract, whisk until smooth then add the sift dry ingredients in to two phases with the milk, whisk all together until the cake mixture is smooth and thick.
- Pour the cake mixture over the apples slices
- Bake in a preheated oven 180°C /365F for 35 - 40 minutes
- Cool down the cake for 15 minutes before flip it upside down.
