Chocolate Caramel Poke Cake Recipe

Lovely and tasty Chocolate Caramel Poke Cake, this recipe is so tasty and rich of caramel and chocolate flavours, i also added a chunks of chocolate snickers for topping and the test turned so cool. 

The cake is so moist and covered with chocolate syrup and top with a fresh whipped cream which gives a delicious competitions.

Chocolate Caramel Poke Cake Recipe

Chocolate Caramel Poke Cake

Prep time: 10 mins          Baking time: 20 mins          Total time: 30 mins


 Ingredients:

 For cake batter:

  • 3 Eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 Cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder
  • 2 Cups all purpos flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder

For whipped cream:

  • 1 cup cream fresh
  • 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

 For topping :

  • 2 bars snickers 
  • Chocolate sauce 
  • caramel sauce


 For fill the cake:

  • 5 tbsp caramel sauce or chocolate sauce 

 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven at 180°C  and prepare a pan measure 25 x 25 with parchment papper.
  2. In a large bowl mix the eggs with sugar and vanilla until light color.
  3.  Add the milk and oil, give the batter a quick mix then add into tow phases the seften flour, cocao powder and baking powder .
  4. Mix until you have a smooth chocolatey cake batter.
  5. Pour in to tray and bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Cool cake in pan or on a wire rack if you want to place it in a serving dish as i did. Poke a cake with large fork at 1/2-inch intervals. Pour caramel sauce and sepread to fill the holes.
  7. Whisk the cream with adding confectioners sugar gradually until coherent.
  8. Frost the cake with whipped cream.
  9. Chill for 2 hours, decorat with snickers, chocolate sauce and caramel suace.
