Easy 4 Ingredients Coconut Macaroons

I used to buy coconut macaroons from the bakeries stores but since then i tried to make it at home, and i did a great easy 4 ingredients coconut macaroons recipe and i no longer buy it because it is quitley easy and takes only 5 minutes to prepare and ready in 20 minutes.
Coconut is one of my favourite flavour to make a treat, i made my cupcakes and muffins with coconut, and one of my best is dessert made with coconut in macaroons and Revani Cake.

4 Ingredients Coconut Macaroons
Prep time: 5 mins Baking time: 15 mins Total time: 20 mins
yield: 9 macaroons
Ingredients:
- 2 egg whites
- 1/3 cup (70 grams) sugar
- 1 and 3/4 Cups (120 grams) of shredded coconuts
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla for flavor
- Pinch of salt
- 60 grams chocolate
Instructions
- In a large bowl place the egg whites, vanilla and salt.
- Whisk with a hand whisk, add sugar gradually. Whisk until you have a liquid meringue.
- Add grated coconut to the egg whites mixture. Stir with a spatula until all well combined.
- Use an ice cream spoon to form as medium macaroons balls.
- Place macaroons balls in a prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in preheated oven 170°C for 15 minutes.
- Cool before decorating with chocolate.
- Melt chocolate in a microwave for one minute then stir until you have a smooth chocolate.
- Dip macaroons in chocolate, then place it back on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper to cool.
- Make a decorating bag from parchment paper, fill it with the remain chocolate then decorate your macaroons with chocolate lines.
- Chill at least for 20 minutes before serving.
