The best Pasta tuna baked recipe, so easy and perfect for everyday life with a tasty crunchy cheese and a mushy pasta within. I also added all vegetables by hands, to get the ultimate benefits of vitamins and protein.
 
I love pasta in any way and i tried many recipes with pasta as tuna pasta bake, veggie pasta, pasta with pesto, pasta with cream, pasta with bechamel sauce and many other way and they all were perfect and delicious.

What kind of pasta i should use for this recipe?

Use any type you have pasta is delicious with all ways, make it with shell pasta or with spaghetti, any type of pasta will be good.

What are the main ingredients in Pasta Tuna Baked recipe?

  • Panne pasta
  • Olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Natural Tuna
  • Onion cut into dices
  • Bell pepper(any color)
  • Pasta sauce or made yours with tomato paste
  • Italian herbs or mix oregano, thyme and  rosmary
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Cheese mix (Mozzarella cheese- cheddar and parmesan cheese)
 

How to make tuna pasta baked?

  •  Boil water, add the pasta penne. Cook for 7 minutes.
  • Drained pasta from any extra water.
  • Prepare the sauce ( read full instructions below)
  • Add sauce to pasta and mix to combine. 
  • Place pasta in an oven ceramic dish.
  •  Top pasta with cheese.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.

NOTES
You can add any vegetables by hands to this recipe.
Don’t over cooked pasta, read the cooking instructions on the pasta bag some pasta takes only 3 minutes to prepare and other more than 7 minutes, so it will turned mushy and sticky if you over cook.
Dont’ forget to remove stickes of thyme and rosemary, so as not to cause suffocation or injury while eating it by mistake.

Tuna Pasta bake

Yield: 3 Persons
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Panne pasta (300 grams)
  • 1 Tbsp Panne pasta
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Natural Tuna tin drained from extra water
  • 1 small onion cut into dices
  • 1 Carrot Grated
  • 1 Small Bell pepper(any color)
  • 2 green onions (optional)
  • 1 Cup mushroom Sliced
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • 3 Tbsp Tomato paste
  • 2 cup water
  • 2 Fresh sticks rosemary
  • 2 sticks thyme
  • 2 Tsp oregano
  • 1 Tsp paprika
  • ½ Tsp garlic powder
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 100 Grams Cheese mix (Mozzarella cheese- cheddar and parmesan cheese)

Instructions

    1. In a boiling water, add oil and salt then add the pasta penne cover and reduce the fire on medium heat. Cook the pasta for 7 minutes or follow the instructions on the pasta bag.
    2. Drained pasta from extra water
      To prepare the sauce:
    3. On a high heat place a large skillet, add about 2 tablespoon of olive oil, onions, green onions, bell pepper, carrots, tomatoes and mushrooms.
    4. Stir the vegetables until softened, add tomato paste and water or (melt the tomato paste in water before adding). Add thyme and rosmary.
    5. Reduce heat to medium. Cook for about 10 minutes or until thicken.
    6. Season with paprika, oregano, garlic powder, black pepper and salt.
    7. Add drained tuna and give a quick stir to combine, remove stickes of thyme and rosemary. Remove sauce from heat.
    8. Add sauce to pasta and mix to combine.
    9. Place pasta in an oven ceramic dish.
    10. Sprinkle the cheese mix on the top of the pasta
    11. Bake at 200°C/ 400F for 10 minutes or until golden crunchy cheese.
    12. Serve it immediately.
