This is the best easy homemade 5 minutes hummus recipe you’ll ever make. I made the original Palestinian hummus without adding any weird additional ingredients, just my old grandmother’s recipe. I love to serve my hummus beside falafel and French fries, or fill it in a pita sandwich.
The secret of a great hummus is adding enough liquidity and an ice cube, which gives the hummus a smooth and white lovely color. If your hummus mixture is still thick, add more water.
I use a ready-to-use hummus in my Easy Homemade 5 minutes Hummus recipe, but if you wish, you can make a homemade chickpeas poached. Just remember to soak the chickpeas overnight or for at least 6 hours before boiling them for 40 minutes. But if you use canned chickpeas, be sure to wash them with water a couple of times to get rid of preservatives.
What is tahini sauce?
Tahini sauce is a creamy liqued sauce made from sesame paste mixed with vegetable oil. Also, you can add it to your salad as a dressing it would be so delicious.
