Homemade Sandwich Bread


Nothing more delicious than a homemade bread and today i’ll share with you my way to make a perfect easy homemade sandwich bread. I used to make this for my kids and they adore it especially when it’s warm. It’s so fluffy and moist and i advise you to make it, and you’ll be happy from the result.

Prep time: 15 mins
Baking time: 45 mins

Ingredients:

500g all purpose flour
1 tbsp dry yeast
1 tbsp sugar
salt to taste
2 tbsp melted butter
1 1/4 cup warm water


The way:

– In a large bowl place all ingredients an knead it until all well combine and you have a smooth elastic dough.
– Place the dough in a bowl that has been lightly oiled and cover with plastic wrap, let it double in size for 1 hour.
– Brush 9-by-5-inch loaf pan with butter, lightly floured surface, press the dough 9-by-6-inch rectangle. Roll up from short end into log, tucking dough under itself as you roll to create taut surface along log.
– Transfer the loaf to the prepared loaf pan, cover with plastic wrap or clean kitchen towel and let it rest for another 40 minutes.
– Bake the loaf at 200°C for about 45 minutes and when out from oven brush the loaf with butter it will give a shiny color and a tasty taste.
– Let it completely cool on wire rack before you slice it.
