Easy Oreo Cheesecake Squares

This easy Oreo Cheesecake Squares recipe is 10 minutes to make and the final taste is perfect and melt in your mouth. Oreo is the the favorite cookies for my kids so i keep make them a recipes with oreo, and this cheesecake was so delicious and the oreo inside the cheesecake melted in mouth. I think you should try it, it has just 5 ingredients to make, you’ll need simple ingredients: 2 packet oreo cookies, butter, cream, sugar and cream cheese.

What kind  of cream cheese to make Easy Oreo Cheesecake Squares?

You’ll need a non sweet and flavour creamy classic cheese such as mascarpone cheese, or philadelphia. Some friends asked me if they can use Kiri cheese for cheesecake?

Well, yes you can but you have to add other ingredients such as sour cream or yogurt to the recipe, because kiri is strong and you can’t add too much squares of it.

 

How easy to make this recipe?

This recipe is so easy to make, you’ll make it simply with the following steps:

  • Crush the cookies, place it in a medium bowl.
  • Add melted butter, mix together.
  • Place the crust into a square pan covered with parchment paper to ease final transform. Press into the bottom.
  • In another bowl cream the creamcheese with sugar, add heavy cream whisk all together.
  • Add Chunks of oreo cookies to the cream batter, give it a quick mix.
  • Pour the batter above the prepared crust.
  • Chill 4 hours or overnight.

Can i make this recipe in a springform pan?

Ofcourse, you can make this recipe in a normal cheesecake springform pan or in any square or round pan you like. But in the springform pan you don’t need to cover with parchment paper.

Ingredients

  • 2 pack Oreo cookies (28 cookies)
  • 70 grams Melted butter
  • For cheesecake
  • 500g cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or any type
  • pench of salt
  • 3/4 cup (200ml) Heavy cream

Instructions

    -Place oreo cookies into a plastic bag, crush the cookies with rolling pin, roll over across the bag, or use a food processer.
    - Empty the bag with crushed oreo into medium bowl, add butter and mix together until combined.
    - Press into a bottom of 18cmx18cm square pan covered with parchment paper.
    - Refrigerate until prepare the cheese layer.
    - In a large bowl mix the cream cheese with sugar until dissolve, add heavy cream. Mix all together until creamy smooth batter.
    - Add oreo chunks to the cream batter and give the mixture quick mix.
    - Pour cheese mixture on to prepared crust. Smooth the top of cheesecake with a spoon. Top with more oreo chunks.
    - Chill at least 4 hours or overnight. Cut into squares, i love to decorate it with chocolate syrup (optional).
