Homemade Falafel

Falafel is a delicious dish from the Middle Eastern kitchen, today I present you an easy way with simple components to make falafel at home .

Prep time: 20 min

Amount: 20 falafel pieces

Ingredients:

300g chickpeas

1 pack of parsley

1 clove of garlic

1 small onions

1 tablespoon ground cumin

1 tablespoon ground coriander

1 tablespoon salt

1/4  teaspoon of baking soda

3 tablespoons water

For decoration:

5 Tbsp sesame seeds (optional)


Preparation:

– Place the chickpeas in a bowl and swamp in water for 8 hours.

-in a food processor, grind chickpeas with onions, parsley and garlic.



– Season with cumin, corinder, salt and baking soda.


– Mix the ingredients and add water to soften the falafel mixture.

– With a falafel spoon or mold, make the falafel piece then dip it in sesame seed or (form falafel pieces as a small ball if you don’t get this mold).



– Fry in hot vegetable oil until it golden brown color.

– serve it with salad and french fries.
