Christmas is only 30 days away, and I already feel the excitement in the air. The holiday season calls for sweet treats, and this easy 2 ingredients chocolate fudge fits perfectly. It comes together quickly, making it an ideal dessert for holiday gatherings or even a simple snack when you crave something chocolatey.

I made this 2 ingredients chocolate fudge recently, and the final batch gave me 40 pieces. That feels like a lot for my small family, but my kids adore chocolate, so they devoured their share in no time. I couldn’t resist either—I had to try a piece myself. The moment the fudge touched my tongue, it melted smoothly in my mouth. The rich chocolate flavor was indulgent and satisfying, making it impossible to stop at just one piece.

What I love most about this fudge is its versatility. I usually store it at room temperature because I enjoy the soft, creamy texture. Each bite feels luxurious, and the fudge keeps its smooth consistency without hardening. However, if you prefer your fudge slightly firmer, storing it in the fridge works perfectly. Either way, it stays delicious and keeps well for several days, which is great when you make a large batch like I did.

This recipe impresses not only because of its simplicity but also because it delivers that classic chocolate taste that everyone loves. With just two ingredients, you can create a treat that looks like it took hours to prepare. The fudge slices easily, and you can share it with friends, family, or even coworkers without any extra effort.

During the holiday season, I enjoy having a stash of homemade treats ready. This chocolate fudge makes the festive atmosphere even sweeter. I imagine my kids sneaking a piece while I wrap gifts or sip hot cocoa by the fireplace. Even though I made more than we needed, it brings joy to see them happy and satisfied with such a simple, homemade dessert.

This Christmas, I plan to make this fudge again. Its ease, taste, and sheer chocolaty indulgence make it a holiday favorite for our family. Anyone who tries it will understand why it disappears so quickly!

Ingredients

  • 400 g semi-sweet dark chocolate
  • 1 can 305ml sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  • Prepare the pan: Grease and line a 9×9-inch square pan with parchment paper. Ensure the paper hangs over the sides for easy removal.
  • Cut the chocolate: Chop the chocolate into medium-sized pieces to help it melt quickly and evenly.
  • Melt chocolate: In a medium saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk and chopped chocolate. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly until the chocolate fully melts and blends smoothly with the milk. Avoid overheating to prevent the chocolate from seizing.
  • Pour and spread: Remove the pan from heat immediately. Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan. Use a spatula to spread it evenly and smooth the top.
  • Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is firm to the touch.
  • Cut and serve: Lift the fudge out using the parchment paper. Cut into squares while still cold.
  • Storage:
  • For soft, melt-in-your-mouth fudge, store at room temperature in an airtight container.
  • For a firmer texture, store in the fridge. The fudge keeps well for up to 1 week.
