These delicious easy 5 minutes mini pancakes are so tasty and perfect to start your day with, every time i make these lovely breakfast, i try it in different way. I sometimes add nutella or whipped cream with strawberries chunks. This time i will serve it simply with maple syrup, but my kids always prefer it with Nutella. I saw this recipe as a viral tik tok last year but i never think to share it here on my blog, and now a days since everyone start to forget about it, i just want to remind you about this recipe.

What You’ll Need to Make Easy 5-Minute Mini Pancakes

Just like traditional pancakes, this recipe uses basic pantry staples:

  • Egg
  • Vanilla
  • Milk
  • pinch of salt
  • Flour
  • Baking powder

Can I Use This Recipe to Make Regular Pancakes?

Absolutely! This is just your classic, old-fashioned pancake batter. The only difference is how you use it. I pour it into a bag and pipe it into mini pancakes for a fun twist. You can make full-sized pancakes using the same batter if you prefer.

No fancy tools here—just a few simple items most kitchens already have:

  • A non-stick skillet (or a regular skillet greased with butter)
  • A piping bag or any clean plastic bag (even a freezer bag will work!)
  • A spatula

How to make these mini pancakes?

  • Beat an egg with a fork, add vanilla and sugar whisk until sugar dissolve.
  • Add egg mixture to the milk, stir to combine.
  • In a large bowl place flour and baking powder.
  • Pour liqued ingredients at the top of dry ingredients.
  • Whisk together until smooth batter.
  • Place pancake batter in a decorating bag.
  • Pipe mini pancakes in a skillet
  • Cook at medium heat, when the top set, flip the pancakes with a spatula.

These Easy 5-Minute Mini Pancakes are the perfect quick breakfast or snack that’s fun, fluffy, and delicious. Made with simple ingredients like flour, milk, egg, and vanilla, they come together in just minutes, no special tools required. Just pipe the batter onto a hot skillet, flip, and enjoy golden, bite-sized pancakes with maple syrup or your favorite toppings. Ideal for kids, or a sweet morning treat!

Servings 3 persons

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract any variety
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour 125g
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder 5g
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¾ cup milk 200ml
  • Maple syrup for serving (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, beat the egg with a fork. Add the vanilla extract and sugar, then whisk until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the milk and stir until well combined.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  • Gradually pour the milk and egg mixture into the dry ingredients. Whisk until you achieve a smooth, lump-free batter.
  • Pour the batter into a decorating or piping bag and seal it tightly. This makes it easier to portion out mini pancakes.
  • Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pipe small rounds of batter onto the skillet. Cook for about 30–45 seconds or until the tops begin to set. Flip using a spatula and cook the other side for another 20–30 seconds.
  • Depending on the size of your skillet, you may need to cook the pancakes in batches. Each mini pancake takes less than a minute to cook.
  • Serve warm with maple syrup or your favorite toppings.
