Homemade Baked Donuts Filled with Nutella is the best choice to make and to start your active day with, this time i baked my donuts and it turned great exactly as the same delicious taste fried donuts. I filled it with Nutella because my children love nutella, but you can fill it with strawberry jam or with cream pastry. I have no difficulty with making these baby donuts, i add all the ingredients in my mixer and let the dough rest, flatten the dough cut as rounds, rest for another 45 minutes and bake.

Baked Donuts Filled with Nutella
Prep time: 30 minutes Baking time: 15 minutes Yeild: 15 Donuts
Ingredients:
- 3 and 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 1 Tablepoon instant yeast
- 3/4 cup warm milk
- 60g melted butter
For filling:
- 4 tablespoon Nutella
- 1/2 cup melted butter (100g)
- 1 cup sugar
Instructions
- Prepare a baking sheet by line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, instant yeast, salt, vanilla and eggs. On a low speed mix all together then add warm milk and melted butter.
- Knead until smooth and sticky dough. Cover with plastic wrap and rest for 45 minutes at room temperature.
- Dust a surface with flour and roll dough out to just under 1/2″ thick. With a cookies cutter, cut into round donuts. Re-roll scraps.
- Place donuts on prepared baking sheet cover and let rise for 45 minutes.
- Preheat oven at 200˚C with rack in the center of the oven.
- Bake donuts for 15 minutes or until golden top.
- When out of oven, with a knife Cut a deep slit in the side of each donuts.
- Pipe nutella with a pastry bag into each donut, then brush over with melted butter and roll to coat lightly with sugar.
