Cheese Garlic Bread

This homemade Cheese garlic bread recipe is great for dinner, because it only requires easy everyday ingredients and without any special pans.

With simple instructions, and no advanced baking techniques you’ll have a mouth watring bread with crispy edges and top with a delicious mozarella cheese, really this recipe is what you’ll need for dinner to please your partner or family.

I’ve made this cheese garlic bread and add extra ingredients to give it more delicious taste, i know it’s sound crazy to add a triangle spreadable cheese to butter, but this option gives a great smooth cheesy taste. I also add some yogurt to make dough and it’s optional but the yogurt gives the bread more fluffiness and help it to more pouf, also the tast of the bread will be a little bit likable soury.

What are the basic ingredients of Cheese Garlic Bread ?

You’ll need Easy ingredients to make this lovely recipe:

  • All purpose flour
  • Yeast
  • Sugar to activate yeast
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive oil to smoothen the dough
  • Warm water
  • Yogurt (optional) but it gives the dough more fluffiness

for filling:

  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 50g of soft butter
  • 3 Tablespoon roughly chopped parsley
  • 3 Tablespoon parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 triangle spreadable cheese (optional)
  • Mozzarella Cheese

Tips for a successful recipe :

  • Knead the dough for 15 minutes until you have smooth and elastic.
  • Grease dough with olive oil.
  • Cover and let the dough ferment in a warm place, i recommend inside a turned off oven or microwave.
  • Use soften butter otherwise it will be difficult to spread it.
  • Bake bread in a praheated hot oven.

Total Time: 2 hours

Ingredients

For dough

  • 3 cups All purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp Yeast
  • 1 Tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 Tbsp Salt, or to taste
  • 3 Tbsp Yogurt (optional)
  • 3 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Warm water

For filling

  • 50g soft butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 triangle spreadable cheese (optional)
  • 3 Tablespoon roughly chopped parsley
  • 3 Tablespoon parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, place all the mentioned ingredients except water ( i prefer to add it gradually, because there are diffrient types of flour some takes more and some less water).
  2. Knead on a slow speed, add water. Knead for 10 minutes until your dough become soft and elastic.
  3. Shape your dough as a ball. Grease dough and bowl with olive oil. Cover with plastic wrap or with kitchen twol. Rest in a warm place for 60 Minutes.
  4. Take a half amount of your dough. Extend it first with hands as circle on a parchment paper(so you can easily transmit it later) then use a rolling pin, spread the ball as a 1/2 inch thick. Cover again and rest for another 30 minutes.
  5. Prepare filling: cream butter and spreadable cheese together, add mashed garlic, parmesan cheese and roughly chopped parsley. Mix all together until smooth creamy mixture.
  6. Spread the mixture with a spoon, then generous layer of mozzarella cheese.
  7. Transmit to a baking sheet.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven 220°C/420°F for 15 minutes or until light golden.
  9. Cut it into stickes or as desire.
  10. Enjoy!
