Chocolate Crepes filled with chocolate hazelnut spread
I’ve made this easy Chocolate Crepes filled with chocolate hazelnut spread for the Crêpe day in Belgium, and i want to share with you this lovely and delicious recipe. It is also perfect for any time as breakfast or as a desserts. My kids adore it and finish all the dish in just 5 minutes 🙂 and thank God i took some pictures to share it with you.
What kind of chocolate hazelnut spread?
I use the available Nutella chocolate hazelnut spread but you can fill with any other type of chocolate hazelnut spread.
What other filling can i use to fill Chocolate Crepes?
Here are some ideas i use sometimes to fill the chocolate crepe:
- chocolate hazelnut spread with banan slices.
- Sweet cream cheese with strawberries slices.
- Whipped cream with cherry sauce
- chocolate hazelnut spread with crushed hazelnut.
- Peanut butter with raspberries.
Can i use normal skillet to prepare Chocolate crepes?
Yes, you can use any available skillet, grease with butter and pour the crepe batter or without butter if you use a non-stick skillet as i did in my video, and the size dose not matter, use a 16 inch skillet of bigger but i don’t recommended to use a stainless steel skillet.

Notes:
- Place the liquid ingredients first in the blender then the dry as flour and cocoa powder, so it won’t stick at the bottom of the blender.
- It is better to let the crepes batter to set for 10 minutes before cook.
- If the crepe batter to thick add more water about 1 to 2 tablespoon of water (the batter thickness depends on the flour type)
- Use any skillet, i recommended to use a non stick skillet.
Chocolate Crepes filled with chocolate hazelnut spread
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup All purpose flour
- 2 tablespoon cacoa powder
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla powder or extract
- Pinch of salt
For filling:
- chocolate hazelnut spread
- 1/4 cup Crushed roasted hazelnut
- chocolate hazelnut spread
- 1/4 cup Crushed roasted hazelnut
Instructions
- In a blender place all the mentioned ingredients.
- Blend until you have a smooth chocolate crepes batter.
- Peheat a skillet in a high midume heat.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of the creps batter in the skillet and tilt quickly to distrubuting the batter over the pan.
- Cook for 30 seconds and flip to the other side and cook for another 30 seconds.
- Cool before fill it.
- Fill the crepes with chocolate hazelnut spread and crushed hazelnut or as desired.
- Decorate with chocolate sauce and whipped cream.
