Yes, my kids loved the homemade italian hot chocolate with mini marshmallow, but be carful when serving the hot chocolate immediatly for children or for adult as well, because it will be so hot and may make a seroius burn in mouth.
What else can i add instead of cornstarch?
I saw some italian chefs add all purpose flour, instead of cornstarch and i think it will gives the same result, it just help the liquid to thicken, but the important is to let the liquid boil for at least once to thick and to remove the taste of cornstarch or flour. Also, chocolate help the liquid turns more chocolaty and thick.
