How to make No-Oven Chocolate Cake?

To make this simple chocolate cake, you’ll need:

  • Eggs
  • Granulated sugar
  • Vanilla (use any type)
  • Milk
  • Vegetable oil
  • All-purpose flour
  • Cocoa powder
  • Baking powder and baking soda

How do you make this lovely chocolate cake?

  • To make the moist chocolate cake in a frying pan, you’ll need to whisk eggs with granulated sugar and vanilla until the sugar dissolves. Add liquid ingredients such as milk and vegetable oil, then sift in the dry ingredients: flour, cacao powder, baking powder, and baking soda.
  • Grease a 22-cm frying pan with butter, pour the half of cake batter in it, cover the frying pan, and cook at medium heat for 10 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  • Repeat with the remaining half of the cake batter. Let it cool on a wire rack.
  • Soak cake with any type of syrup; I used ready-made chocolate syrup. Also, you can avoid this tip because the cake is moist and fluffy.
  • Prepare chocolate ganache by heating the cream in the microwave and pouring over the chocolate chips. Wait for a minute, then stir until you have a shiny chocolate ganache.
  • Fill the cake with any cream you like, and frost with chocolate ganache. Decorate as you wish.

Can I double this cake to make more layers?

Yes, this chocolate cake in a frying pan does indeed double quite easily. Just double the ingredients and bake two more layers of the chocolate cake.
