Tabouli Salad – Lebanese Tabouli salad

Have you tried Tabouli salad for dinner?
Today i’ll show you how to make Mediterranean Tabouli salad full of feber and iron so fresh, healthy and delicious. This is an old fashion way of lebanese tabouli salad. We eat this amazing salad as a dip with the fresh lettuce leaves and they have a wonderful taste together. Since i adore the middle eastren food i learned much about the lebanese, turkish, greek, syrian and jordanian food. Did you know that every country in the middle easte has it way to made tabouli?


The lebanease way prefer to serve the lettuce aside of salad, Take a dip lettuce in salad to eat as a bites. while in greece they add couscous or quinoa instead of bulgur, and add cucumber, lettuce and tomato paste into the salad. In this recipe i’ll make lebanese Tabouli way and i think it’s the same syrian way and you’ll love it.

Lebanese Tabouli salad

 
Prep time: 10 minutes
Yelid: 2 persons
 

Ingredients:

1/4 Cup bulgur (3 tbsp)
1/2 cup warm water
1 cup mint leaves
2 bunches parsley
2 tomatoes 
1 large scallion or 2 small
Fresh lettuce leaves
 
For dressing:
1/4 Cup Lemon juice
2 Tbsp olive oil
Pinche of black pepper
1 tsp salt, to taste
 
 

 The way:

 
– In a small bowl soak the burgul with warm water, better to cover the bowl, leave for 5 to 10 minutes.
– Finely chopped mint leaves and the bunches parsley.
– Remove the tomatoes seeds, cut into small dices.
– Finely chopped the scallion.
– To make the dressing: in a measuring cup mix lemon juice with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
– Pour the dressing on to the salad before serve it, mix all together until all well combine.
– Decorate the salad bowl with lettuce leaves, and add more aside the salad.
