- 2 cups whole milk
- ¾ cup oats
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 tbsp honey or sugar, to taste
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- For topping
- Blackberries
- Almonds
- Raisins
- Additional honey if desired
- Your favorite sliced fruits
Pour the milk into a saucepan and add the oats, cinnamon stick, and honey (or sugar).
Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir gently to combine. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
Once boiling, reduce heat and cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and creamy.
Remove the cinnamon stick and stir in the vanilla extract.
