Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • ¾ cup oats
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 tbsp honey or sugar, to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • For topping
  • Blackberries
  • Almonds
  • Raisins
  • Additional honey if desired
  • Your favorite sliced fruits

Instructions
 

  • Pour the milk into a saucepan and add the oats, cinnamon stick, and honey (or sugar).
  • Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir gently to combine. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
  • Once boiling, reduce heat and cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and creamy.
  • Remove the cinnamon stick and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Pour the oatmeal into serving bowls.
  • Top with blackberries, almonds, raisins, and any other favorite fruit slices. Drizzle extra honey on top if you like it sweeter.
  • Serve warm and enjoy your quick, wholesome breakfast!
