- 1 chicken breast about 550 g
- 3 tbsp plain yogurt
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp ground cardamom
- 1½ tsp salt or to taste
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- For serving:
- Fresh lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomato
- Sliced red onion
- Sandwich bread or pita
- French fries optional, for serving
Slice the chicken breast into medium strips.
In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, cardamom, salt, and olive oil.
Add the chicken strips, coat well, cover, and let marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
