- 2 Cups quick oatmeal or oat flour
- ½ cup all purpose flour
- 2 ½ Tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 ½ Tablespoons Maple Syrup
- 1/4 Teaspoon salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Baking powder
- 3/4 Cup water
- 200 g Date paste
Preheat oven at 180°C/ 365°F.
Finly ground the instant (quick) oats in a food processor. Place in a medium bowl.
Add flour, salt, baking powder, maple syrup and vegetable oil. Mix all together, then add water gradually so you can control the consistency of the dough.
Take a small ball of date paste, and a medium ball of the oatmeal dough.
Fill the dough with date paste, close firmly and flatten with your hands palm. Repeat.
Place cookies in a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
Bake in preheated oven 180°C/ 365°F for 7 minutes or until light golden edges.
Cool down before serving.
