This is the best and easiest way to make Belgian Liege Waffles. They are made from a dough that is similar to brioche, with pearl sugar mixed in, which caramelizes on the outside of the waffle when it is cooked.Pearl sugar is folded into the dough for a unique texture. When cooked, the sugar caramelizes and forms a golden, crispy crust.
The result is a dense, sweet waffle with irresistible chewy goodness. You can store it for 2 days or so, it will still taste good, just keep it in jar.I like to serve it pure and enjoy it warm, but you can serve it with what you wish.

Can i store Belgian Liege Waffles?

Yes you can, but I like to serve them fresh and warm, with no toppings. The pure taste of caramelized sugar and dough is just heavenly.
You can enjoy them as breakfast, dessert, or a midday snack.Whether plain or topped, these waffles are always a crowd-pleaser treat.
They’re loved by kids and adults alike for their comforting taste.

Living in Belgium, I see waffle shops around nearly every corner, but nothing compares to making them at home with my girls.
The warm scent of baking dough fills the house with joy. Additionally, homemade waffles bring comfort, tradition, and love to any cozy kitchen.

It’s a bonding moment filled with smiles, laughter, and sweet memories. The recipe is simple, and ingredients are likely already in your pantry.
You’ll need a waffle iron, preferably one made for Belgian waffles.
Once you try homemade, you’ll skip the store-bought version forever. Make a batch, share with family, and enjoy the warm delight.
These waffles will quickly become a favorite in your home too.
