This is the Best French Toast Recipe – Quick and Easy i ever have made. This way is so easy and delicious and my kids and my husband adore it. The perfect caramlized and crispenes from the outside gaves a great taste for the french toast.

What kind of bread to use in the french toast recipe?

The main original french recipe they use the brioche bread, but if you don’t have it you can use the challah bread or butter toast slices bread, or thick white bread.

Why i used granulated sugar to caramelized the top of my Best French Toast Recipe?

Sprinkle sugar at the top of the bread right before flipping not only gaves my toast a lovely golden caramel shape, but it also gives a gorgeous, crackly sugar edge that shatters in your mouth when you bite into it.

Tips for successful  best French Toast recipe- Quick and Easy:

  • Don’t dip and leave the toast too much in the eggs milk mixture, or it will absorb too much liquid and turned mushy.
  • Adding oil with the butter is for avoide the butter from burning.
  • Don’t add too much butter in skillet when toast the bread.
  • Let the french toast turned to golden brown from all around, so you get the best crispness outside and tender inside.

Easy and quick frech toaste recipe for breakfast crisby and delicious

Ingredients

  • 8 Slices Toast Bread 
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder or extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Butter, for frying
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Extra granulated sugar, for caramelizing

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl whisk eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt, cream, milk, and cinnamon together. Until a well mixed mixture.
  2. Place a cooking pan on a high heat, add butter and oil.
  3. Dunk a slice of bread until soaking the both side, then place in the pan.
  4. Cook until golden, sprinkle granulated sugar on the other side and flip the bread. Cook until caramlized and golden.
  5. Repeat with the remain bread slices.
  6. Serve with confectioner sugar and strawberries, or with maple sauce.
