Chicken Pizza Pie Recipe
The best and tasty chicken pizza pie recipe with a mushy dough and delicious pizza filling. The recipe is so easy to make, i made it for dinner yesterday and can’t wait to share it with you because it was so tasty and all my family adore it. If you have a rest chicken from dinner you can make this lovely pie, i’ve made it with a rest of chicken breast, cut it into small pieces and add the pizza ingredients to it. I love anything related to pizza, pizza pie, mini pizza and pizza rolls. I’ve made also a mini pizza pie and shared it already on my blog.
What ingredients you’ll need to make chicken pizza pie recipe?
I made this recipe with simple ingredients by hands, for the dough you’ll need:
- Flour
- Yeast
- Sugar
- Salt
- Yogurt
- Olive oil
- Water
And for filling:
- Chicken
- Mozzerella cheese
- Olives
- Bell pepper
- Onion
and you can add any other ingredints for filling.
Can i made this recipe as a vegan way?
Yes you can make it as vegan without chicken and avoid adding ingredients like yogurt and the final egg wash polish. Also this recipe is so flexibale you can make it with any filling you wish even as vegeterian you can add tuna or salmun instead of chicken.
Tips for a successful chicken pizza pie
- Add water gradually some flour needs more water than other it depends on the type of flour.
- Knead on a slow speed for 10 minutes until smooth elastic dough.
- Cover and rest in warm place for 1 hour.
- Grill chicken and cut it, add it cold to the dough, if it hot the dough will turned sticky and may melt. You can also use rest chicken.
- Cut extra dough from edges, and press firmly to avoid the filling get out while baking.
- Bake in a preheated oven 200°C- 400F for 30 minutes or until golden top.

Chicken Pizza Pie
Ingredients
For The dough
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoon yogurt
- 1 teaspoon Salt, or as desire
- 1/2 cup Warm water
For filling:
- 1 cup chicken breast, cooked and cut into dices
- 1 cup bell pepper, i mixed 3 colours
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 300 grams Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup green or black olives, sliced
Egg wash polish
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon milk or water
- 1 teaspoon black sesame
- 1 teaspoon sesame
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add all dough ingredients flour, yeast, sugar, yogurt, olive oil, salt and warm water ( add water gradually some flour needs more water than other it depends on the type of flour).
- Knead on a slow speed for 10 minutes until smooth elastic dough.
- Shape dough as a ball. Grease with olive oil, cover and rest for 1 hour.
- When dough ready cut into two halves, extend half dough to shape your tray. place dough inside your tray and shape the edges.
- Place filling a generous layer of mozzarella cheese, then chicken , bell pepper, onion and olives. then the remain mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with the remain extended dough. Cut extra dough edges, and decorate with fingers.
- Mix egg with milk and polish the top of the pie. Sprinkle sesames.
- Bake in a hot oven 200°C- 400F for 30 minutes or until golden top.
- Serve and enjoy!
