French Toast Roll-ups with 2 filling Recipe

This lovely recipe ready in just 20 minutes, make it in your valentine’s day or in your partner birthday breakfast. I filled it with tow lovely and easy filling, the first is with cream cheese and raspberries but you can fill with strawberries instead of the raspberries. And the second, with nutella and bananas which are my two favorite filling.
What kind of cheese to use for filling?
Choose a cream cheese, the one you used to make your cheesecake with lime mascarpone or philadelphia. I used the mascarpone in my recipe and it turned great.
Tips for successful French Toast Roll-ups:
- Be sure to flatten well the pieces of toast . It must be thin when roll it up.
- Don’t dip and leave the roll ups toast too much in the eggs milk mixture, or it will absorb too much liquid and turned mushy.
- Don’t add too much butter in skillet when toast them.
- Let the french toast turned to golden brown from all around the roll up, so you get the best crispness outside and tender inside.

French Toast Roll ups
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 10 Toast (white bread)
- 4 tablespoon Butter or as needed
- Powdered sugar for garnishing
For filling:
- Nutella
- 1 Banana cut into small cubes
- 3 tablespoons of cream cheese
- 1/4 cup of sugar, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 Teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 cup raspbarries or strawberries cut into cubes
Instructions
- Prepare the dip mixture, whisk eggs with milk, sugar, vanilla and ground cinnamon. Set a side.
- Prepare filling : mix cream cheese with powdered sugar, lemon zest and vanilla.
- Cut the white bread crusts off. With a rolling pin flatten the pieces out.
- Fill each with nutella and banana, roll up then dip in egg mixture.
- Fill another with cream cheese and raspberries, roll up then dip in egg mixture.
- In a hot skillet, melt a tablespoon butter; place and brown the rolled up bread. Repeat.
- Garnish with powdered sugar and serve it warm.
